New Synagogue Berlin – Centrum Judaicum Foundation is home to an archive whose core holdings include a large part of the former Berlin-based archive of German Jews, which collected files from Jewish communities and institutions. The permanent and temporary exhibitions are dedicated to various aspects of German-Jewish history, especially Jewish history in Berlin. The historical place of remembrance is also intended to serve as a forum for communication and as a place of learning for the discussion of the significance of remembrance in the present.
