Source Description

With this letter, Max Mandl from Shanghai wrote to the Jewish Congregation in Hamburg on November 1, 1946 to obtain information about the fate of his relatives and to find out about the whereabouts of their estates. He also asked to be put in touch with his former employer in order to explore the possibility of re-employment.
