educational matters stated the following
:
The
members of the Jewish faith according to its
by-laws. Belonging to
the Jewish faith is not identical with belonging
to
the
who do not
belong to the
it is not orthodox enough for them. The
determining factor for
belonging to the Jewish faith is a person’s own
declaration (the
profession of faith of the person concerned). A
admit someone to the Jewish faith without

of the

confesses to the Jewish faith. On the other hand,

In the current circumstances the
however, willing to admit all students in
according to the Nuremberg Laws and are thus excluded from the public schools,

they do not confess to the Jewish
faith. If they do not belong to any
confession, for example,they can
be excused from Jewish religious education.
Naturally only those
children who positively belong to another religion (e. g.
who have had a Christian baptism)
and are expected to be raised as Christians
have to be excluded from admission to the school.
The restriction included
in the previous sentence has subsequently been revoked by Mr.
baptized Christian “Jews” while excusing them from
