<dc:description>This flyer was published by the Hamburg chapter of the Central
Association of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith Centralverein
deutscher Staatsbüger jüdischen Glaubens and distributed on April
13, 1932 as a supplement to the newspaper Hamburger Fremdenblatt,
which had a print run of ca. 150,000 copies. In 1932 the liberal
newspaper Hamburger Fremdenblatt, which claimed to be “the largest
political daily newspaper in northwest Germany,” had a daily print
run of ca. 150,000 copies and was distributed in Hamburg and the
surrounding area. Flyers were one of the means used by the
Centralverein in its fight against antisemitism. Today this document
is located at the Archive of the Research Centre for Contemporary
History Archiv der Forschungsstelle für Zeitgeschichte in Hamburg.
